Thirsty Thursdays: Lacy Konieczka

What is one thing people should know about you?: I can be an intense, yet extremely silly person. A definite wild card, and probably your most loyal friend. Also, a nickname I have is “little miss red dress no panties”. That comes from one of the times I was being a loyal friend.

What are your favorite mantras? I have one that I try to say to myself several times a day: Be kind, caring, strong, confident, considerate, loving and positive. If I focus my thoughts and energy towards emanating those characteristics each day amazing things happen.

Last song you caught yourself singing along to? That would be the classic tune “I’ve got a lovely bunch of coconuts” diddly doo …You’re welcome for getting that stuck in your head.

Why the Summit Endurance Academy for coaching? I want to be strong and fit not just physically, but more important, mentally. This training program has definitely helped me get closer to that goal every day…Also one day I want to kick my boyfriend’s ass in the mountains. So please stop coaching him and focus more on me. 😛

What are three things you always pack on any trip? Underwear, running shoes and a swim suit

Favorite superhero? The Scarlet Witch… I was her for Halloween a couple of years ago and I got to wear a cape, it was very cozy.

Are you more of a hunter or a gatherer? Gatherer for sure.

Name three weakness/guilty pleasures? Peppermint patties, popcorn and Mason’s abs

What inspires you? Strong independent women, who have the family/life/work balance nailed down. It’s such an inspiration to watch and I admire it. Women are fucking cool; they can do it all.

What do you do to relax? I love to hang out with my girlfriends and just get real together. The best nights are ones spent with them where we laugh and validate the shit out of each other.

What is your spirit animal? Unicorn, obviously. They are sparkly, colorful and fart rainbows.

What are your nutrition principles? My main focus on nutrition is to make sure I eat enough veggies everyday. I feel the best and perform at my best level when I consume ample amounts of green things. And water. And bread, carbs are great too.

Who is your hero? Beyoncé….She SLAYS! She is a fiercely strong, creative, independent creature who loves her family and her man proudly and vocally. She is not shy about speaking her mind and her truth. She also keeps Jay Z in check which I can appreciate.

If you had the chance to talk to your hero this instant, what would you ask him/her? I would ask her what the hardest/best lesson she has had to learn? What were the surprising moments that pushed her to where she is today? I would also ask her to teach me how to twerk.

What question should I have asked? What motivates me or pushes me to my limits? OR a game of “fuck, marry, kill” that’s always fun!
